Here’s another piece of the MTV Watch The Throne Interview I did…
Talking about the Watch The Throne Album…
Renowned Italian DJ/Production duo Crookers recently released a 3 track EP titled Dr Gonzo, a collaboration with Savage Skulls, Neoteric, and Wax Motif. The track “Bust ‘Em Up” with fellow Mad Decent artists Savage Skulls is a high energy party banger that we were playing already. We were then given the opportunity to remix it, so we injected some RAGE into the joint. Check it out!
Once again, I was able to play at Soho House NYC, thanks to Team Epiphany. This time we were celebrating SENA NYC.
As always, don’t let the name fool you, everything is covered in this mix - from New Jack Swing, to Moombahton, to Baltimore Club. This is completely LIVE, no editing, straight from the party.
Perfect for the middle of the summer….
The Sons of Bobby aka AnimalStatuS (DJ Wonder + DJ dB) have decided to unleash the RAGE upon the world in the form of their new single, “Ol’ Dirty Bounce.”
For our DJ’s:
Based around a sample of one of the forefathers of RAGE, O.D.B., “Ol’ Dirty Bounce” has been club tested and has transformed a room of stiffs into flesh-eating zombies time and time again.
Feel free to post this joint on your sites, tweet about it, make a CD of it and play it in your DiscMan, whatever!!
dB of AnimalStatuS bring you that Summer Madness!!
In his own words:
“Hot off the turntables comes a new summertime mix. Good for beach tunes, bbq’s, or even to drown out the crazy panhandler on the train.”
Thanks to the good folks at Team Epiphany and Gourmet Footwear, I present you with the latest edition of “House Beats.”
Recorded LIVE at Soho House NYC during a celebration of Gourmet’s new line. This is a laid back banger built for your pre-party enjoyment. Close to 3 hours of funk, filled with everything from The Stone Roses to Raekwon to NKOTB.
Feel free to tweet, post, share with friends, whatever!
Check out some of my childhood memories over on the @AnimalStatuS site, like my first mixer…
Last month I played an awesome party called Switchboard, started by the good folks of Telephoned. All covers, all night. Sammy Bananas even recorded my set and made it available on their site.
